What are the responsibilities and job description for the IAM Social Media Marketing Intern position at Water Safari Resort?
Scope:
Works with the Director of Marketing and social media Team to gain knowledge and experience in many facets within the Marketing and Social Media markets.
Assists the Director of Marketing with general Marketing and Social Media initiatives, contests, special events and projects - primarily for Enchanted Forest Water Safari and Calypso’s Cove, but also for the Old Forge Camping Resort and the Water’s Edge Inn
Participates in the upkeep of the company Social Media platforms including creating content by filming and editing.
Works with the social media Team to present and announce the daily Circus Show.
Assist with the daily in-park appearance of the park’s mascot, Walter Safari.
Contributes to the efficient day-to-day operation of the office and provides clerical and administrative support to management, team members and guests.
Essential Duties:
Maintaining Enchanted Forest Water Safari’s social media presence (managing TikTok, Facebook and YouTube)
Creating videos, photos and content for social media platforms
Understand and ensure overall brand recognition across all 4 companies
Assisting in office duties - answering telephones, assisting team members, assisting guests and other duties as business dictates.
Qualifications:
Must possess knowledge and competence within the latest social media platforms
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Exhibit a friendly, cooperative and professional demeanor
Maintains productive and respectful working relationships
Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of people
iPhone usage and Capcut editing experience a plus but not required.
Proficiency with a PC and skills in Microsoft Office programs
Must be actively pursuing an Undergraduate degree in Marketing or similar field
Salary : $16 - $17
