Job Ad - Jr Water Softener/Water Treatment Technician

Full Job Description

As a Water Treatment Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and installation of water softener systems and other water purification equipment, such as our high-end reverse osmosis water filters. You will also be expected to consult customers on water treatment challenges common to Summit County. You will need to be reliable and work hard with little supervision. Physically you will need to be prepared to carry 50lb bags of salt and other tools/equipment easily regardless of steep terrain or stairs.

Job responsibilities consist of:

• Provide service by installing, fixing, and maintaining water treatment systems
• Test water quality and prescribe proper treatment remedies
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and all those you interact with
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools, and equipment
• Document and improve checklists and processes used by other technicians
• Cooperate with the technician team and share information across the organization

You will be driving a company-branded vehicle, so responsible drivers with a clean driving record are a must.

Schedule:

• 8am-5pm Monday - Friday

Supplemental Pay & Benefits:

• Commission pay based on sales
• 15 days PTO and 9 paid Holidays

Experience:

• Installation of Water Softener or Reverse Osmosis Systems
• Plumbing experience
