Work Location and Schedule This position will be based in Columbia, SC. What You'll Do
Coordinate and perform a wide range of staff and / or operational support activities for the region; assists visitors, resolves and / or refers administrative problems and inquiries.Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, interviews and / or other events; distributes information or invitations; prepares agendas, notices, minutes and resolutions for meetings.Perform complex and confidential administrative functions, including written correspondence, reports, spreadsheets and other documents.Responds to routine external correspondence.
Establish, maintain and update files, databases, reports, and / or other documents.Perform routine analyses and calculations in the processing of data for recurring internal reports.Prepare or assist with the preparation of scheduled and / or ad hoc statistical and narrative reports; performs basic information gathering and analysis and / or forecasting, as specifically directed.Sort, review and distribute incoming and outgoing mail; composes, prepares and ensures timely responses to a variety of routine written inquiries.Serve as liaison with regional companies in the resolution of day-to-day administrative and operational problems.Use the internet and historical documents to perform research.Maintain office supplies, maintenance of office equipment and other services.Assist management and staff in problem solving, project planning and development and execution of stated goals and objectives.Assist with special projects as needed.May assist other operational staff depending on workload.Perform other related duties as assigned. What You'll Bring ExperienceA minimum of 1-2 years previous experience in an administrative role or similar position. Education and CertificationsHS Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License Nice to HaveAssociates or Bachelor's Degree in communication, business, or related field is preferred Skills, Knowledge, AbilityMust have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
