We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong background in various maintenance tasks, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and facilities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize tools and equipment for tasks such as welding, electrical work, and mechanical repairs.
- Assist in residential painting projects as needed.
- Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform various repair tasks.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in maintenance work is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
- Prior experience in supervising or leading a team is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
