Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Process cash and credit transactions accurately using the cash register or Aloha POS system.
- Monitor inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, particularly in fine dining or catering settings.
- Stay updated on current drink trends, techniques, and menu offerings to enhance guest experiences.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Experience
- Previous bartending experience is preferred, particularly in fast-paced environments such as nightclubs or fine dining establishments.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Proficient time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage types is advantageous.
- A background in the food industry or catering can enhance your application.
