Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Back of House Team Member to join our team. As a Back of House Team Member, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant's kitchen and food preparation areas. Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the front of house team to ensure timely service
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

This is a seasonal position at a waterfront restaurant serving upscale food in a fast paced environment. Experience required for some positions, with room to learn in others. Looking to build with motivated, dedicated individuals. Must be able to commute to East Greenwich. Pay ranges based on experience.
