Meter Reader/Groundskeeper/Laborer
Water & Wastewater management company located in Skagit County that serves Skagit, Island and Snohomish, Whatcom, and King Counties is looking for a Meter Reader/Groundskeeper/Laborer. This position travels to offsite water systems several days a week and works at the main office in Mount Vernon, WA for a portion of the week. Willing to train the right candidate. A meter reader is a professional who reads and records the consumption of water meters to ensure that customers are billed accurately.
Job Requirements:
Valid WA driver’s license
Clean driving record
Comfortable to work in PNW weather year-round
Safety conscious
Candidate must be able to work quickly and efficiently without direct supervision
Be able to exercise independent judgment and know when to ask for specific guidance
We are a drug-free company and the ability to pass a drug test is required
The Meter Reader/Groundskeeper/Laborer will be responsible for the following duties:
Water Meter Reading
Using hand/power tools and equipment
Mowing/Trimming
Digging
Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds
Maintain Equipment
Other duties as assigned
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Salary/Benefits:
Pay: $22.00-$25 per hour
