Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Transfer Field Service Manager (FSM) to oversee water transfer operations within a designated region. This role is responsible for managing personnel, logistics, equipment, safety compliance, and customer relations while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to company policies and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily water transfer operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Schedule and coordinate the deployment of equipment and personnel for projects.
  • Monitor equipment performance and maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Continuously seek improvements in operational efficiency and implement new technologies.

Staff Management

  • Lead and manage a team of Service Supervisors, Leads and associate's in water transfer activities.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Set performance expectations, provide coaching, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure strict adherence to environmental regulations, permits, and company safety protocols.
  • Enforce compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and industry best practices.

Logistics & Resource Planning

  • Plan and allocate resources, including equipment, labor, and materials, to meet project needs.
  • Optimize routes and logistics to reduce costs and environmental impact.

Quality Assurance

  • Maintain high standards for water transfer projects through quality control measures.
  • Conduct inspections and address any operational or equipment issues promptly.

Customer Relations

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a professional manner.

Budget & Cost Control

  • Work with Senior Management to monitor departmental budgets and control costs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement process improvements.

Inventory Management

  • Oversee inventory control and ensure accurate tracking of equipment usage.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain detailed records of operations, equipment usage, inspections, and incident reports.
  • Ensure accurate real-time reporting through H2Optics automation for customers and management.

Invoicing & Billing

  • Oversee billing and invoicing processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Work with Senior Management to resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
  • Implement best practices for streamlining billing operations and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in water transfer operations, field service management, or a related industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing teams, scheduling operations, and enforcing safety protocols.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with water transfer equipment, maintenance procedures, and automation technologies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of environmental regulations and safety requirements.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and team interactions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, implement solutions, and optimize processes.
  • Technology Proficiency: Experience with operational software such as RigER, H2Optics, or similar platforms.
