Waterbury Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking an experience Director of Rehab Services to join its team.
Up to date PT or OT license in the state of CT is required.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the rehab department
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff members
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
- Monitor and evaluate program outcomes and make necessary adjustments
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
Qualifications:
- State of CT Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license (required) - Bachelor's degree in related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a leadership role
- Familiarity with utilization management and critical care processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team
