Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. The Nurse will be responsible for managing patient data while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
• Implement infection control measures to ensure patient safety and prevent the spread of infections.
• Educate staff, patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes within the acute care setting.

Requirements

• Current nursing license in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and infection control protocols.
• Proficient in data management practices related to patient care documentation.
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
