Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. The Nurse will be responsible for managing patient data while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Implement infection control measures to ensure patient safety and prevent the spread of infections.
- Educate staff, patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and preventive measures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes within the acute care setting.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and acute care practices.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and infection control protocols.
- Proficient in data management practices related to patient care documentation.
- Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred but not required.
