Description : JOB SUMMARY
As a Capital Markets Analyst at Watercress Financial Group, you will be part of an active team, collaborating with the FP&A Manager and VP of Capital Markets to ensure that the business has adequate liquidity, is in compliance with its funding facility covenants, and is meeting its financial targets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily / Monthly Borrowing Base Management
Monthly Reporting for Funding Partners
General Financial Analysis
Ad Hoc Support for Capital Markets and FP&A
Financial and Product-level forecasting
Budget
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in accounting, finance, economics or business-related field, or 2-4 years’ experience in the finance, accounting or capital markets field.
Must be detail oriented and able to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible as business needs change.
Attention to detail when working with large data sets and good analytical skills
Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking and time management skills. Own issues and resolve them in collaboration with others
Proven ability to use and learn new technology
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Experience with Power BI or other Business Intelligence programs is a plus
Experience with financial models and financial concepts and terminology
