What are the responsibilities and job description for the Building Maintenance Technician position at WATERCREST COMMUNITIES?
We are looking for Facility Maintenance for support to our Assisted Living Facility's here in the Wichita are. The ideal candidate will have experience in areas of apartment maintenance including room flips, PTAC units, basic plumbing, electrical, sheet rock, carpet, landscaping, and paperwork compliance for our state regulations. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is able to work on projects independently and who is dedicated to both our organization and the success of our residents. Applicant is required to have a valid Driver's License
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Replace carpets and vinyl flooring
- Perform basic repairs of equipment.
- Perform maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, and plumbing systems.
- Install and maintain electrical wiring.
- Install and maintain lighting fixtures.
- Install and maintain water heaters.,
- Install and maintain electrical service systems.,
- Install and maintain plumbing systems.
- Sheet rock repair
- Drive facility truck to facilities for dump runs.
Requires on-call for emergency maintenance.
