Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
SUMMARY: As an acting team member of Waterdrops Express Car Wash, the responsibility of the Assistant to the Store Manager is to support and offer aid to the Store Manager. By overseeing the general operations of the company and the day-to-day business operations. As well as working with qualified staff, performing related production tasks, maintaining the store image, answering customer inquiries, as well as creating a positive work environment.

- Work Setting -Position requires above average amounts of physical activity in an outdoor car wash setting. There is an above average amount of manual labor involved in the job.
- Body Positioning - Ability to intermittently and repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands to grasp, push, pull, or do fine manipulations, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods. Ability to lift or move items of light to heavy weight, up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ensures overall maintenance of the facility to include machinery, vehicles and building structure, and arranges for repairs as needed.
- Assistant to the Manager is expected to cover afternoon shifts and perform the needed prep for the business day.
- Must have knowledge of opening procedures for both the cash register (KIOSK) and the tunnel.
- Be able to set up each vacuum and air hose station in a timely manner and perform any repairs as needed.
- Prepare the prep containers for Wash Attendants.
- A required test wash must be performed every morning prior to opening. Store managers are to inspect the test wash and ensure all brushes are properly extending and retracting, as well as all chemicals being fully dispensed. Observations for all tunnel machinery
- Observations of Oil Levels, Air Compressors, Hydraulic Packs, and Pure Water machines should be inspected prior to opening.
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenance on all equipment to ensure it is kept in proper working order. If you come upon any maintenance issues you are unequipped to handle, you must contact a Maintenance Supervisor.
- Help out the Maintenance Supervisor or Store Manager with any maintenance repairs.
- Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and ensure everything is kept in the proper place and organized.
- Responsible for providing proper rest and meal breaks to all employees throughout the day.
- Must be able to fill out a CER (Customer Experience Report) report if an incident occurs during your shift
- De-escalate customer problems/complaints in a professional and timely manner.
