Overview
The Maintenance Director is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations within our facility. This position requires a proactive individual who can ensure that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally, while also leading a team of maintenance professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in industrial maintenance and electrical systems, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Duties
- Develop and implement maintenance management strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee the maintenance of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
- Manage high voltage electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repair of logic controllers.
- Train and mentor maintenance staff in best practices for safety and equipment handling.
- Collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and improve overall facility operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements including NFPA requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance management within a long term care setting.
- Strong knowledge of the NFPA and long term care regulations and requirements.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
- Proficiency in using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their maintenance requirements.
- Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- A commitment to safety practices and continuous improvement in maintenance processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.44 - $33.65 per hour
