Control Center Operator
General Information:
Title: Control Center Operator
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Location/Site: San Antonio, Corporate Office
Hours: Rotating shift, 4 days on/4 days off, 12 hour shifts per day
Day Shift: 6am-6pm for 2 months
Night Shift: 6pm-6am for 1 month
Pay: Bi-Weekly
Reports to: Control Center Supervisor
Supervisory Responsibility: None

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will provide continuous monitoring, analysis, and operation of WaterFleet’s systems and technology. By using real time surveillance dashboards, SCADA tools, and live maps they will strive to increase unit performance and reduce downtime through remote technical troubleshooting. They will also be expected to collaborate with the field and dispatch teams with the specific goal of increasing operational efficiency and ensuring the consistent delivery of a quality product to our customers. This role will also be able to contribute specific ideas and feedback that will be continue development of WaterFleet’s SCADA applications.
Responsibilities:
Data Management / Business Tools
- Monitor Mobile Water and Wastewater systems by utilizing alerts, historical data, and real-time analysis to provide real time feedback and diagnostics to field personnel.
- Identify system failures, troubleshoot and attempt to correct remotely, and create necessary work orders for corrective repairs.
- Perform data validation, analysis, and reporting for the operations team. Ensure that data integrity is high to provide a solid basis for decision making.
- Collaborate with field operators and technicians to communicate work orders and system issues to address problems according to severity level.
- Escalate ongoing problems and operational issues to supervisors and operations team.
- Serve as a central point of contact and information center for Operations personnel and field related activity.
- Function as a field contact for Sales and Business Development
- Manage automated reports needed by management; identify and develop additional tools and reports as needed.
Collaboration
- Drive engagement with other departments (Compliance, Accounting, etc.) to ensure strong working relationships.
- Interact and share ideas with Operations Teams to drive efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
- Communicate often with field operators and supervisors to ensure effective support to their team and provide value where most needed.
- Work with Business Intelligence Team on ideas and enhancements. Provide use case scenarios to support development ideas.
- Provide training to various personnel on the tools utilized in the Bridge.
- Actively collaborate and foster relationships with other Bridge operators on all shifts and hitches.
Requirements:
- High School Grad or GED
- 2 years in a field operation or compliance-based position
- Acceptable background check, clear of DWI convictions, for the last 5 years
- Valid US driver’s license and strong driving safety record (no more than 2 moving violations in the previous 3 years).
- Microsoft Office Products, eWON/Talk2M and SCADA proficiency
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in an office environment, with the potential for a rotating day/night hitch schedule
- Ability to report to work on time, maintain a good attendance record, and work all designated work schedules.

- College degree preferred
- Motivated to drive efficiencies and learn new technologies
- Ability to execute in an environment with competing priorities
- Ability to leverage technology, guide process and systems discussions
- Ability to make well-informed decisions in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to communicate in a positive, respectful, and effective manner to both field and office personnel regarding technical and business-related needs.
- Obtain a Class “D” Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Water or Wastewater Operator License within 1 year of assignment/employment.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
