General Information:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to support the marketing initiatives and operations. This role will be responsible for assisting with marketing campaigns and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels including paid advertising, social media, email marketing, SMS, content creation, etc.
- Track campaign progress, reporting, updating online assets, streamlining digital marketing production, and handling general digital marketing activities.
- Manage and update marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content.
- Coordinate social media content scheduling, engagement, and analytics.
- Support event planning, trade shows, and promotional activities.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends to support marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
- Work with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely completion of marketing projects.
- Develop, implement and execute strategic communications and marketing plans.
- Ensure website pages are up-to-date and working properly, coordinating with developers as needed. Perform periodic site audits.
- Create and draft a variety of creative marketing communications across various channels.
- Perform keyword research and analysis, write, and implement SEO elements for websites with guidance and feedback from senior staff.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness.
- Provide team with support in the creation, management and optimization of digital media campaigns.
- Provide periodic analysis and reporting on site traffic, digital advertising, SEO success, etc., for management with guidance from senior staff.
- Report on the performance of new media activities, assessing the scope of reach and providing regular reports to senior staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing support and/or administrative roles.
- Valid US driver’s license and strong driving safety record (no more than 2 moving violations in previous 3 years).
- Acceptable background check, clear of DWI convictions, for the last 5 years.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration within and between department(s).
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
- Knowledge of web design, development and content management.
- The ability to make supporting workers in tough environments, providing clean drinking water and treating wastewater cool!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM tools).
- Experience with social media management and content creation (Linkedin, Facebook etc)
- Comfortable working in Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Salesforce etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional project management skills, with high attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Passionate, creative thinker with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Highly organized with experience in professional relationship management.
