Hours: Monday–Friday with occasional weekend duties
Pay: Bi-Weekly
Reports to: Director, Operations
Supervisory Responsibility: None

Position Overview:
The Housekeeper & Facility Custodian will primarily undertake the cleaning and upkeep of 1-main office building and 2-trailer houses in Carlsbad, and 2-trailer houses and 1-office unit in Pecos, TX. Transportation to/from Pecos will be provided, and deep-cleaning will be carried out there once every 10-days. Each bedroom’s linens will be washed, dried, and replaced as needed.
The main office building consists of 3-offices, a small lobby, 3-bathrooms, a conference room, and a small breakroom. Each trailer has 5-bedroom/bathroom units and a small kitchenette & living room. Each trailer house in Carlsbad will require deep cleaning once every 5-days with spot cleaning as needed. The goal of the position is to ensure that all living & working quarters are kept clean & sanitary and tidy in appearance, contributing to the impression of a high quality, professional environment.
The ideal candidate will become a member of the work-team and will look after the facility and its residents with kindness and devotion. All supplies will be provided, as needed/requested.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans and sanitizes working and living areas including, but not limited to, trailer rooms, bathrooms, lobby, corridors, offices, kitchenettes, and breakroom according to company standards and within required time frames.
- Washes and replaces linens in all occupied trailer rooms every 5-days.
- Replenishes supplies such as bathroom necessities and kitchen & breakroom supplies.
- Collects trash on designated days and transports to dumpsters.
- Stocks, organizes, and maintains housekeeping supplies & equipment.
- Always greets co-workers in a warm, friendly manner.
- Strictly adheres to safety & security policies to ensure personal safety, safety of other workers and their belongings, and company property.
- Use all materials, chemicals, and tools safely to avoid injury, waste, unnecessary damage, or accidents.
Requirements:
- Must work with self-direction and minimal supervision.
- Must be capable of determining priorities and executing them accordingly.
- Must maintain an energetic and positive demeanor.
- Must work with diligence and consistency.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license that is in in good regulatory standing.
- Valid US driver’s license and strong driving safety record (no more than 2 moving violations in previous 3 years).
- No felony convictions within 5-years of application.
- Must be trustworthy and reliable.
- An uplifting, warm member of the team will be preferred, such that team-members will feel comfortable exposing their living quarters, rooms, and personal effects.
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
