Position Title: Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Job Overview: An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) is responsible for providing emergency medical care to people in need.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Emergency Medical Response:
o Provide immediate, emergency medical care to patients at the scene of accidents.
o Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, and administer appropriate treatments or interventions based on protocols.
o Administer medications, provide oxygen therapy, and perform basic life support procedures as needed.
o Transport patients to medical facilities while continuing care and communication with hospital staff.
2. Equipment Maintenance and Management:
o Ensure all medical equipment is properly maintained, checked, and ready for use.
o Clean and disinfect medical equipment, vehicles, and gear after each use.
o Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment to leadership for repair or replacement.
3. Training and Professional Development:
o Participate in ongoing training to stay current with medical procedures, techniques, and safety protocols.
o Attend drills, physical fitness activities, and other required training sessions.
o Maintain certifications for EMT duties.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
o Work as part of a team with other EMTs, firefighters, and emergency responders to ensure efficient emergency response.
o Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other emergency medical professionals to provide clear and accurate information.
o Document all patient care, treatment, and actions taken during emergencies following departmental policies and procedures.

6. Working Conditions:
