Responsibilities

As a Registered Dental Hygienist , you will play a vital role in ensuring the oral health and well-being of our patients. You’ll provide expert care, educate patients, and support the dental team in delivering exceptional service. Your duties will include :

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs

Accurate charting of hard and soft tissue

Educate patients on proper oral care techniques and the importance of regular dental visits

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain oral hygiene for patients of all ages

Administer local Anesthetic

Take intraoral x-rays and photos

Provide compassionate patient care, by keeping your patients focused on optimal and necessary treatment needs such as Scaling and Root Planning, while addressing their individual concerns

Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with clinic protocols

Sterilize and sharpen instruments

Requirements : Qualifications :

We are looking for a hardworking, patient-focused team player who aligns with our core values of kindness, patience, and respect. The ideal candidate with have :

Active Dental Hygiene license and be in good standing with MN Board of Dentistry

Knowledge of general dentistry principles and advanced dental hygiene techniques

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDH

Commitment to punctuality, teamwork, and cross-functional duties

Strong communication skills, flexibility, dependability

Positive, caring, service-oriented attitude & be a great team player

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, ensuring patients feel comfortable and informed

Familiarity with dental office software systems (e.g., Open Dental) for scheduling and record keeping purposes

Knowledge of medical coding and documentation practices related to dental procedures

Strong understanding of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans

Ability to build rapport with patients of all ages

Physical Requirements :

Ability to stand, lean, and bend for prolonged periods.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
