Waterford Public Schools has an immediate vacancy for a team-oriented individual. Waterford Public Schools is seeking a Playground Aide/Lunchroom Monitor at Great Neck Elementary School.
The Playground Aide/Lunchroom Monitor supervises student activities and behavior on the playground and during student lunch periods.
Waterford Public Schools serves approximately 2,400 students in grades PK-12. The District’s facilities include three elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. According to the State of Connecticut Next Generation Performance Accountability System, Waterford Public Schools ranks in the top third of K-12 school districts in the state. The Waterford Board of Education is a nine-member elected body.
The position requires a high level of student interaction and structured monitoring of the lunchroom and playground areas, including some clean-up duties. We are looking for positive, dependable and energetic individuals who are comfortable maintaining safety and routines. Must be available M-F 11-2:00 pm.
Hourly Rate: $16.70
