Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the property are maintained in excellent working condition, providing a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents. This role requires technical proficiency, a strong work ethic, and the ability to respond quickly to maintenance requests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Address resident maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of apartment units and common areas.
- Maintain and repair appliances, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Handle emergency maintenance issues as needed.
- Assist with preventive maintenance.
- Keep detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Work closely with property management to ensure the overall cleanliness and functionality of the property.
- Occasionally assist with move-ins and move-outs, including unit turnovers.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Proven experience in maintenance, particularly in apartment or property settings.
- Basic plumbing and HVAC knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule and availability for on-call or emergency maintenance needs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
