What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sideline Cheer Coach - Mott position at Waterford School District?
- CAP Certification Preferred
- C.P.R. Certification and First Aid Certification Preferred
- Substantial Cheer coaching experience at the high school level, Head Varsity Coaching Experience preferred
- Substantial knowledge of the fundamental and technical aspects of Cheer
- Ability to effectively build a Cheer program, and development of the athletes as Cheerleaders
- Demonstrated effective communication
- Must abide by the Waterford School District Coaches Handbook and overall District athletic philosophy
- Plan, organize and facilitate practices
- Oversee and manage a coaching staff
- Oversee and manage events
- Assist participants in developing skills needed to be successful competitors
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Work effectively with the entire coaching staff and athletic department
- Teach, maintain and enforce character and academic expectations within the program
