Varsity Football Coach - Mott

Position: Varsity Football Coach

Location: Waterford Mott High School

Minimum Qualifications:

• CAP Certification Preferred
• C.P.R. Certification and First Aid Certification Preferred
• Substantial Football coaching experience at the high school level, Head Varsity Coaching Experience preferred
• Substantial knowledge of the fundamental and technical aspects of Football
• Ability to effectively build a Football program, and development of the athletes as Football players
• Must abide by the Waterford School District Coaches Handbook and overall District athletic philosophy

Essential Functions:

• Plan, organize and facilitate practices
• Oversee and manage a coaching staff
• Oversee and manage competitions
• Assist participants in developing Football skills
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
• Work effectively with the entire coaching staff and athletic department
• Teach, maintain and enforce character and academic expectations within the program

Reports To: Mott Assistant Athletic Director, District Athletic Director, Building Principal

Workday/Week: Varies

Compensation: Determined by Teacher Master Agreement and years of experience or non-WEA member rates
