We are seeking a dedicated Service Writer to join our team. As a Service Writer, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, strong background in boat diagnostics, maintenance and service writing. If you have mechanical knowledge and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Communicate with customers to determine boat issues and maintenance needs
- Provide accurate estimates for repairs and services
- Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of work
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records
- Transmit work orders to the appropriate departments
- Assist with oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance tasks
Experience:
- Previous experience in a service writer role is preferred
- Knowledge of auto estimating and dealership procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with boat terminology and processes
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle inquiries professionally
Work Schedule:
Tuesday - Saturday
8:30am - 5pm
