Waterfront Restoration is hiring Watercraft Inspectors for the 2025 boating season (May through September) in the following locations:
Lower Prior Lake - Prior Lake, MN
Upper Prior Lake - Prior Lake, MN
Spring Lake - Prior Lake, MN
Cedar Lake - New Prague, MN
Lake O'Dowd - Shakopee, MN
McMahon Lake - Prior Lake, MN

Job Description:
The Watercraft Inspector position serves to inform and educate the public on the threats of ecologically harmful aquatic invasive species (AIS) to Minnesota’s waters. Inspectors will undergo paid training in MN DNR protocols, and perform thorough inspections on all incoming or outgoing watercraft at multiple lakes throughout the service area.
Duties:
- Educate the public on the Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) program
- Inspection of watercraft for invasive species (inbound and outbound)
- Conduct verbal surveys
- Documentation of inspection activities.
- Maintain current knowledge of best practices while inspecting watercraft
Qualifications:
- Verbal communication and customer relations experience.
- Willing to work weekends and holidays. Shifts will be on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays within your availability.
- Requires walking, standing, and moving about the boat launch area to a significant degree depending on traffic.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
