What are the responsibilities and job description for the Naturopathic Physician or Functional Medicine Provider position at Waterleaf Naturopathic Medicine?

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • An ND or an MD, DO, PA, NP, or DC (license must be up to date) with functional medicine education and at least 2 years of functional medicine experience
  • Someone who does not own their own practice
  • Enthusiasm about holistic medicine and empowering people in their health
  • Compassion
  • A desire to grow and learn as a member of our team
  • Great communication skills
  • Someone who does well working in a team
  • A willingness to learn new skills as needed
  • Someone who is passionate about and practices a healthy lifestyle

The position can be completely virtual. Living in North Carolina is a plus but not required. As a team, we will meet regularly online and come together yearly for a fun, in-person weekend in San Antonio, TX for an annual professional development conference.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:

  • Practice member visits
  • Lab review
  • Practice member management (messages, phone calls, and research regarding care)
  • Maintain great rapport and long-term relationships with practice members
  • Weekly team meeting, and weekly meeting with the health coach and other provider
  • Have a vested interest and take ownership in the betterment of our practice and practice member outcomes
  • Networking in our area to continue to build community

The job is 18-20 hours per week. Pay is hourly, we have a quarterly bonus system, and we give $200 in health stipend each month.
