What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Community Association Manager position at Waterlefe Golf & River Club?
The Assistant Community Association Manager (ACAM) opportunity at Waterlefe Golf & River Club allows a dedicated, experienced manager to be both the on-site, full-time representative for the Master Property Owners’ Association (MPOA) as well as the first point of contact with the community residents on a daily basis.
The successful new ACAM will be active and visible at the Club and within the vibrant community. He/She/They will assist as an ACAM to four sub-associations within the community. A CAM license is required, however, a positive attitude and self starter are key components to this position perfect for someone with a new CAM license.
The ACAM will report to the Community Association Manager
Essential Functions:
- Maintains full knowledge and awareness of all aspects of residential community maintenance including local, state and federal laws and how they relate to the community, the MPOA and other Associations being managed
- Manages day-to-day operations including budgeting, vendor contracts and employee supervision
- Aids in bidding, negotiating and purchasing of contracted services
- Effectively proposes and monitors annual maintenance budgets for the MPOA and the other Associations, providing interpretation at monthly MPOA and/or Association Board meetings
- Implements and enforces the Waterlefe Declaration of Covenants throughout the community coordinating with the appropriate MPOA committees and/or the Board(s)
Candidate Qualifications:
- A Florida CAM license is required (newly licensed are welcome to apply)
- Must be a strong team-player with a customer service mindset; should have a demonstrable track record of project initiation, management and completion
- Has exceptional interpersonal skills and is able to interface well with staff, members, homeowners, and guests
- Is skilled in all modes of communication and can effectively address challenges and facilitate timely and favorable resolutions
- Is flexible and able to balance resident requests, contractor needs and any emergencies that might arise
- Is versed in Outlook, Microsoft, Adobe, and Jonas (would be a plus)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
