This position serves as the primary contact for all aspects of Waterline Technologies website, handling a range of responsibilities that may include web design and development, routine site and content maintenance, and various updates to grow and maintain the company website.
We are a wholesale distributor in the Aquatic Industry located in Orange County for nearly 67 years. Over the past several years we have built a web presence that we are looking to expand on and grow in the marketplace.

Job Duties
- Serves as the primary contact for all aspects of the organization’s website.
- Develops and maintains website content in accordance with the organization’s needs
- Process online web orders and communicate lead times with customers.
- Responsible for back-end platform management of Big Commerce channels using apps like Signifyd, ShippinHQ, Mailchim, FavSEO, ProSEOTracker, Google, and Cyber Duck.
- Manage and maintain Big Commerce platform, including product uploads, inventory management, pricing updates, and web design/layout
- Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and conversion rates
- Responsible for analyzing and reporting actionable data insights
- Understand profit margins and multipliers as it relates to sales, being competitive in the marketplace.
- Interfaces with web analytics and SEO teams to identify opportunities to improve search engine optimization (SEO), time on site, web traffic, and other relevant metrics.
- Assists employees with use of company websites through 1-on-1 support, user guides, and training sessions.
- Research web order payment and shipping discrepancies
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Expected:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- E-Commerce experience, preferably with Big Commerce platform
- Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and best practices
- Experience in supporting the launching of new products by creating new product listings
- Experience with SEO, HTML, web design, and analytic tools (i.e. Google analytics)
- Self-motivator that is strong with troubleshooting and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Knowledge of the Aquatic Industry is a plus

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
