Probationary appointment

SALARY: $85,000 to $110,000 commensurate with experience

The Director is responsible for the supervision, strategic planning and coordination of the district health, physical education, intramural and athletic programs. In carrying out the responsibilities of this position, the Director works closely with administrative staff, coaching staff, parents and students to ensure a program characterized by sportsmanship and character and encourages satisfying participation by a broad cross-section of students. The director regularly attends athletic, school and community events as a part of these responsibilities. The Director shall establish and ensure high standards of conduct for students, athletes, teachers and coaches. Highly effective communication and organizational skills are essential. The successful candidate will be committed to achieving student success both on and off the field.

NYS SDL and NYS PE Teaching certification required

Five Years of successful teaching.

Administrative experience preferred.
