What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Principal - Secondary position at Waterloo Central School District?
The Executive Principal will lead, oversee, and coordinate all operations, personnel and instruction at the secondary campus. This position will collaborate with other secondary building administrators as well as district personnel to carry out managerial and supervisory duties. The Executive Principal will oversee compliance with the law, district policies, fidelity of instructional programs and operation of campus activities. The Executive Principal provides supervision at both schools on the campus and serves as a coach for campus leaders. The Executive Principal is a critical component of the District Executive Cabinet Team.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Monitor curriculum implementation and fidelity checks.
- Oversee accountability system for improvement including SCEP development, implementation and monitoring requirements.
- Coordinate campus data analysis, goal setting and monitoring.
- Facilitate the development of campus system to track and share progress toward goals and performance measures.
- Oversee high-level systems planning and organizational procedures.
- Coordinate a campus plan for professional learning.
- Provide a structure for two-way communication with district administration, staff, students, families and community.
- Communicate and Promote expectations for high-level performance to staff and students and Recognize excellence, growth and achievement.
- Facilitate the development of a shared vision among campus staff.
- Oversee the campus system for recruitment, hiring and supervision of staff.
- Supervise and Evaluate campus staff.
- Oversee the campus budget and facilities.
- Develop a system for campus management of extracurricular activities.
- Oversee the discipline process and procedures associated within.
- Oversee a campus plan for family and community engagement.
- Other duties as assigned by the Executive Cabinet Team.

- Secondary campus staff
Terms of Employment:
- Twelve-month position
- Tenure track appointment
SALARY: Regionally competitive, commensurate with experience
Job Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of teaching experience
- Three (3) or more years of experience in education administration preferred.
- Possess or be eligible for NYSED SBL, SDL or SDA certification.
