Seasonal Mowing
Spring-Fall
(8 hrs/day) M-F [7:00am-3:30pm]
Qualifications:
• Ability to demonstrate aptitude for successful completion of assigned tasks through oral and written channels of communication
• Possess and apply public relations skills effectively
• Maintenance and Grounds work experience related to large-scale physical plant operation with educational facility experience being the most preferred
• Other related work experience may also qualify for consideration
• Have a Class C Drivers License
• Tractor experience preferred
Reports To: Director of Operations
Essential Function:
• Ability to lift 70 pounds, operate machinery, communicate, work flexible hours, and have regular attendance
Position Goal:
• To provide a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient facility in which full educational and community use may be provided at all times
Performance Responsibilities:
• Attendance is necessary to be successful in this position.
• Perform district-wide maintenance/grounds duties and follow orders as assigned
• Ensure the proper storage, maintenance, and use of supplies and equipment
• Comply with all district, local, state and federal laws or procedures, regarding the storage and disposal of chemicals and/or hazardous waste
• Mow, trim and maintain all district lawns, shrubberies, flowers and trees in a safe, attractive condition and/or as directed
• Perform all other duties as assigned
