Job Summary
As a Server in our Dining Services department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will work under the supervision of the Business Office Manager to create a positive and enjoyable dining experience. Your attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential in enhancing our commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities
• Greet and seat guests with courtesy and professionalism
• Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen
• Provide menu knowledge and suggestions, and answer customer inquiries
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages to guests
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate service flow
• Monitor and respond to guest needs throughout their dining experience
• Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and server stations
• Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Server or in a customer service role (beneficial)
• Food safety and TABC certification
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings
