Overview

Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The TA Instruments R&D team is looking to hire a summer intern out of our New Castle, Delaware office. This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately ten weeks and the program will commence in the spring/summer of 2025.

Responsibilities

• Investigating productivity enhancements via incorporation of AI-augmented development
• Developing and prototyping tools and workflows for development and test automation
• Communicating and rolling out enhancements/tools to the team
• Following industry-standard practices for design, development, and test

Qualifications specific to this role:

• Pursuing Bachelors or Masters degree in Elec Eng, Comp Eng, or Comp Sci
• Programming ability in Python and C/C and use of associated IDEs (VSCode, Eclipse, etc.)
• Familiarity with developer workflow (requirements, design, coding, and testing)
• Familiarity with embedded system concepts (microcontrollers, hardware interfaces, connectivity, etc.)
• Familiarity with communication protocols and networking concepts
• Please ensure that you will be located near to the location to which you are applying as full-time in-person engagement will be required for this role.
