What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition position at Waters Corporation?
The Global Talent Acquisition Leader will lead the global TA strategy, programs and initiatives. This includes ensuring awareness of the Waters’ brand, creating and fostering a unique candidate experience and developing a pipeline of diverse high performing talent that will deliver against our business goals.
The position holder will be leading a global team and will report to the CHRO. This position requires an in-person component, functioning out of our global headquarters in Milford, Massachusetts.
- Create a global strategy for talent acquisition that aligns with Waters Company’s values and culture.
- Accountable for the development of business unit strategic workforce plans in collaboration with the HRBP.
- Contribute to the building of our global brand to attract highly skilled and a diverse pool of candidates.
- Ensure the Waters’ culture is strengthened with every hire and will provide timely feedback on our reward strategies to enable agility in responding to candidate needs and market shifts.
- Lead diversity and culture in all aspects of the talent management processes.
- Design for a positive candidate experience and ensure positive touch points at all stages of the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Lead a global team of skilled TA professionals by setting direction on global initiatives.
- Work closely with business leaders and HRBP’s to create and manage a unique Waters’ employee experience.
- Manage and optimize recruitment efforts and processes for internship, early career, experienced and executive positions for the company on a global basis.
- Manage staffing vendor relationships & performance, including staffing agencies for contingent & permanent recruitment.
- Drive operations, data analytics, technology, tools, platforms and processes that help streamline global TA efforts, bringing a faster time to hire and a diverse slate of high performing talent into the business, balancing a desire for consistency with an awareness of local market factors and needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Management, or Business Administration strongly preferred.
- MBA strongly preferred.
- Will have at least 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition with 5 years leading Global Talent Acquisition teams.
- Experience working in a multinational company, ideally with international exposure.
- Experience with all levels of recruitment, from internship through executive placement.
- Models diversity and inclusion awareness.
