Temporary Part-Time Facilities Services Team Member
Accountable To: Facilities Manager
Hours:
- 4 days a week (8 hours a week average).
- Usually, 1-2 hours a day depending on past activities.
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturdays. - - Temporary Assignment will be approximately 4 weeks long.
Position Summary:
- Light Cleaning and vacuuming
- Sanitizing Playland
Typical Duties (not all of these responsibilities will be required regularly / but may be
required occasionally):
Cleaning
A. General cleaning of the space & common areas.
B. Picking up and disposing of trash.
C. General restroom cleaning.
D. Cleaning of the Playland structure, crawling spaces, slides, etc.
E. Vacuuming with various types of vacuums.
F. Dusting and mopping of various floor types.
G. Various other light cleaning duties will be requested from time to time as
required for the day’s events.
Set Ups
A. Setting up and taking down eight foot tables as required for events.
B. Relocating and setting up chairs as required for events.
C. Various other room preparations as required for events.
Hospitality
A. Check in with group / activity leaders welcoming them & meet any needs.
B. Assure that egress and room lights are on for events.
Physical Requirements
- Generally, the job requires walking, standing, lifting, pushing and pulling
- Job is performed under some temperature and under some light hazardous conditions.
Although primary an indoor work environment occasionally you will be required to wok
outdoors. Both of these working environments could include exposure to weather
extremes, dust, odors and cleaning agents, blood salvia and other bodily fluids that may
be unpleasant to deal with.
- You will regularly be required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, lift, crouch or crawl.
- While performing duties of this job, you will frequently be required to reach with arms,
hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate tools and controls.
- You will be required to talk and hear while working.
- Hearing is required in the normal audio range with or without correction.
- Vision is required in a normal range with or without correction.
- The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds and be able to lift 50
pounds repeatedly (setting up tables and chairs).
