Central Wesleyan Church is seeking a talented and creative Video Production Specialist to join our team. This role is primarily focused on producing high-quality video content that enhances our worship services, church events, and outreach initiatives. The ideal candidate will be skilled in video production, including filming, editing, lighting, and motion graphics, while also possessing general knowledge of audio, video, and lighting (AVL) to support live events when needed. This position requires both technical expertise and artistic vision to effectively communicate our mission through engaging visual storytelling.
Responsibilities:
Create compelling video content for worship services, church events, social media, and promotional initiatives, including filming, lighting, sound, editing, and motion graphics.
Manage all aspects of video production, from pre-production planning and scripting to post-production editing and final delivery.
Support live video production for Sunday morning services and special events, ensuring high-quality visuals and smooth streaming.
Collaborate with ministry leaders and creative teams to develop video projects that align with the church’s vision and goals.
Train and lead volunteer teams in video production techniques, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.
Assist with AVL needs as required, including basic live sound, lighting, and presentation graphics.
Maintain and manage video production equipment, ensuring it is in top working condition and up to date with current technology trends.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in video production, including filming, lighting, sound editing, and motion graphics. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and other video editing software.
Strong storytelling abilities with a creative and artistic mindset.
Experience in live video production and streaming.
Basic knowledge of audio, lighting, and AVL systems to support live events.
Ability to lead and train volunteers in video production techniques.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Passion for serving the church community through creative media and visual storytelling.
