Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our team, someone that can work as a team member, someone that doesn't need their hand held, we don't have time to babysit. We need you to be able to come to work ON TIME, Do what you are asked to do. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and scrapping ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This at times can be a tough job but it can be very gratifying and you can learn a lot, you must also not be afraid of getting dirty cause this job isn't for you if you are afraid to get dirt under your nails or something on your clothes. We are continually growing and there are many possibilities and opportunities for that right person, IS THAT YOU!!!!
Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will ensure that our operations run smoothly. Some travel within Idaho and Wyoming.
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the shop and field.
- Organize and maintain the shop to ensure a clean and safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to efficiently perform tasks
-Lifting, sorting, and moving different metals.
-Working with basic tools to unscrew and disassemble materials
Requirements:
- No previous experience needed:
- This job is for someone who can be dependable and someone who wants to work, it can be a demanding at times, it can be hard work and you can't be afraid of getting dirty at times.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks such as bending and stooping.
- To be able to perform well in a very physically demanding job
- Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
