What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nutrient Management Soil Samplers position at Watershed Agricultural Council?
Job Summary
The Watershed Agricultural Council is seeking highly motivated seasonal/temporary employees to contribute to the Watershed Agricultural Program (WAP). The selected candidates will perform a variety of duties, including soil sampling and data collection for nutrient management, as well as assist with Best Management Practice (BMP) installation, repairs, and inspections.
Responsibilities:
- Perform soil sampling and data collection for nutrient management
- Assist with BMP installation, repairs, and inspections
- Conduct Whole Farm Plan monitoring and data collection
Requirements:
- Dependable vehicle, insurance, and valid N.Y.S. driver's license required
- Reimbursement for mileage incurred on the job
