WATERSHED FOODS of GRIDLEY ILLINOIS is immediately seeking Production Operator candidates for 2nd & 3rd Shift. Gridley is approximately a half-hour drive north of Bloomington/Normal and approximately a half-hour drive south of Pontiac. Watershed Foods is a world-class manufacturer and supplier of freeze-dried products and ingredients, primarily freeze-dried yogurt drops and freeze-dried fruit and vegetable melts for the toddler snack category.

Number of Positions Available: We anticipate there will be approximately 3 positions on each shift.
Pay: Starting compensation is $17.00 An addition 55¢ shift differential will be paid for all hours work on 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift.
Shift Hours:
- 3rd Shift 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.
- 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Please note that work schedule includes rotating Saturday work.

Main Duties:
- Complete work as assigned and outlined in the SOPs for any of the areas within our Production department: Depositing, Traying, Batch Drying, Continuous Drying, Packaging, and Relief Operator. Use specific production equipment assigned to the specific department and position.
- Adhere to GMPs and Food Safety Policies and Occupational Safety Policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Report Food Safety, Quality and Occupational Safety concerns area leads and to shift lead.
- Perform sanitation duties as needed.
- Perform Master Cleaning Schedule duties as needed
- Make process improvement suggestions.
- Properly dispose of waste material and used packaging supplies.
- Record quality and production data such as weights, lot numbers, metal detection, and temperature.
Requirements:
- Team-oriented personality.
- Detail oriented and attentive.
- Proficient in mathematics.
- Ability to work in fast paced environment.
- Well-developed sense of personal initiative.
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to work in environmental conditions (hot & cold).
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job such as pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing stairs, etc. which is assessed through a pre-employment fit-for-duty test.
