You will support the entire team as you clear tables, take dishes to the dishwasher, and keep the business looking neat and tidy. Your unparalleled hustle enables our restaurant to be successful in serving more guests and earning more revenue and tips for the staff. You keep our high-volume, energetic crowds happy by teaming up with our entire staff to provide a high level of attentiveness to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Completes standard processes using endorsed methods
Supports other team members to ensure smooth operations and a seamless customer experience
Completes work with professionalism and commitment to quality
Brings a positive attitude every shift and treats everyone (clients and colleagues alike) with respect
Maintains composure, remains calm and patient despite dynamic, fast-paced environment
Is consistent with service approach and models organization’s values
Clears tables with a sense of urgency; enabling more guests to visit the restaurant
Has an intimate knowledge of floor plan
Takes initiative and brings a high level of energy to work
Requires constant movement between kitchen, bar and floor and up/down stairs
Protects restaurant and guests by adhering to sanitation and safety standards and policies
Keeps the restaurant clean: bags and hauls dining room trash to dumpster at designated times

Need to know:
In this role you will be constantly moving; the job demands lots of heavy lifting, bending, twisting, pulling, pushing. Highly physical in nature.
You will be asked to lift up to 50 lbs at a time (glassware, garbage, boxes of liquor bottles, kegs)
Must be available for ALL University of Michigan football home games
Busser shifts are predominantly evening/night shifts; this position requires night time availability
