We are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Multifamily Advisor to join our team and lead transactions across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Associate/Investment Sales at Waterstone Multi-Housing Advisors in Charlotte Metro. We are seeking a results-oriented Senior Multifamily Advisor to help clients sell their multifamily properties across the Southeast. Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with multifamily property owners, developers, investors
  • Sales Strategy & Advisory: Advise clients on the sale of their multifamily assets, utilizing your expertise to price properties competitively and create tailored marketing strategies
  • Market Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the multifamily markets in the Southeast to identify opportunities, provide market insights, and guide clients to maximize their returns
  • Transaction Leadership: Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing, including negotiations, preparing offering memorandums, property showings, and facilitating due diligence
  • Business Development: Source new business opportunities, identify sellers, and build a pipeline of potential multifamily property sales within your territory
  • Team Collaboration: While this is an independent role, collaborate with internal teams and utilize marketing support to promote properties and facilitate transactions
  • Industry Networking: Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to strengthen your presence in the multifamily brokerage community


Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in commercial real estate brokerage, with a focus on multifamily properties
  • Proven track record of successfully closing multifamily transactions in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia
  • Strong network of multifamily investors, developers, and property owners in the Southeast U.S.
  • Expertise in multifamily property valuation, financial modeling, and closing transactions
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a commission-only structure
  • Proficient in real estate software (e.g., CoStar, Linkedin, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to travel within North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to meet clients and attend property showings & meet with prospective owners
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field
  • Ability to analyze market trends and financial data
