Director of Leasing Role
We are seeking a skilled Director of Leasing to join our team at Waterstone Properties Group. This role involves leasing new space, developing and executing creative leasing strategies, and negotiating terms and conditions of retail lease transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leases new space and develops aggressive leasing strategies
- Identifies, qualifies, and negotiates terms with potential tenants
- Closely collaborates with tenant representatives, attorneys, and brokers
- Documents prospective deals and communicates across the organization
- Ensures leases meet financial and operational objectives
- Oversees leasing budgets and conducts financial analysis for prospective leases
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years of experience in deal documentation and leasing
- Proven ability to structure terms and speed of execution, with expertise in originating and completing new and renewal leases
- Ability to prepare market analysis, define rental rates, and determine ideal tenant mix
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, tenant acquisition, and portfolio performance
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with proficiency in real estate technology (VTS and YARDI)
