Job Summary
The Investor Relations Analyst (“IR Analyst”) is a critical member of Waterton’s Investor Relations group helping deliver exceptional client service and contribute to Waterton’s new business development. Utilizing exceptional communication and analytical skills, the IR Analyst will support day-to-day investor relations and marketing efforts across both existing and prospective investors and consultants. The position will report to the SVP, Investor Relations, and work closely with other members of the IR team and across departments.
Your Impact and Job Responsibilities
The IR Analyst will work on multiple projects employing a range of skillsets and collaborate across Waterton’s various departments. Essential job requirements:
- Track firm-wide information such as assets under management, transaction activity, deal and firm level performance and capital raise Maintain firm track record, by strategy, including acquisition and disposition activity and updated projections. Update investor surveys
- Compile / maintain increased level of information required for on-going fundraising efforts at the firm and strategy levels, including firm and asset level information, performance measurement and collaborate with SVP on attribution analysis. Work with SVP to improve/evaluate data collection methods and implement strategy based on this evaluation
- Collaborate on developing and maintaining compelling marketing materials (fact sheets, case studies, pitch books) to market the Company and its capabilities
- Assist with analyzing and translating internal data and market intelligence into compelling narratives to highlight the Company’s competitive advantages
- Collaborate on due diligence efforts through preparation and coordination of Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), track record materials and any bespoke data requests
- Collaborate on compilation and maintenance of previously approved DDQ responses
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, annual and special investor reports including annual and mid-year investor meeting materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency
- Support management of fundraising and reporting data room to ensure proper user access and updates
- Support on-going investor relations for existing investors and onboarding experience
- Other projects as assigned
What You’ll Bring- Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience
- Ideally a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in an investor relations and/or fundraising support role at an investment management firm, preferably in real estate or private equity or at a placement agency in a project management role
- Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Understanding of the financial/real estate market and familiarity with private funds
- Strong analytical and investigative skills and attention to detail
- Team player and resourceful juggling multiple priorities. Efficient in finding the most effective way of completing the task, handling unexpected difficulties, and prioritizing correctly to meet deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills and adept at presenting complex ideas and information in a professional, concise and well-organized way

The typical base salary hiring range for this role is $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year, plus bonus program participation.
The pay range is a base pay only and does not include any additional compensation or bonuses that this position may be eligible for. The pay range is approximate and the actual pay may vary depending on related work experience, certifications, education, and other job related factors.
