We are currently looking for a FT Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our hospital staff! We are looking for a team-player who is passionate about their career and works well in a goal-oriented environment. Working well in a fast-paced, friendly work place is a must. We have all the cutting-edge technology : IDEXX ProCyte & Catalyst DX, IDEXX Sedivue, digital radiology, digital dental radiology, highspeed dental unit, wet lift-table, light microscope, digital infusion pump, and Surgivet Monitoring.
The Veterinary Technician is responsible for an array of tasks related to customer service and patient care within the veterinary practice. Core tasks include : surgical assisting, per-operative and post-operative nursing care, dental prophylaxis, radiography, animal restraint, phlebotomy, lab work, anesthesia, generating financial estimates, accurately entering professional service charges, preparing medications, triaging phone calls, and extensive client interaction. We allow our Technicians to practice to the full extent of their license . New graduates are welcome to apply!
