Position Overview :
We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Industrial Tech Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for preparing students for career success by delivering engaging, hands-on instruction in one or more CTE pathways. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, industry partners, and the community to provide students with real-world learning experiences.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with state standards in one or more CTE areas, such as woodworking, construction, and welding
- Provide engaging, project-based instruction that incorporates industry-relevant skills and technologies.
- Collaborate with local businesses and community organizations to establish internships, job-shadowing opportunities, and mentorships for students.
- Manage and maintain CTE equipment, labs, and learning spaces to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Support students in developing career plans and exploring post-secondary opportunities.
- Participate in professional development and stay current with trends and advancements in CTE fields.
- Engage in school and district initiatives to support student achievement and the strategic plan.
- Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and parents to foster student success.
