Required Certifications & Qualifications
Applicants should have general kitchen skills and be able to lift 40-50 pounds. Must be able to communicate well, get along with a variety of personalities, and be willing to work hard.
General Statement of Duties
Cafeteria substitutes needed for all schools. Tasks vary from school to school and include: basic food preparation, serving during meal service, dish washing and other work related duties as needed by the cafe manager.
Specific Examples of Duties
Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Food Services and/or Cafeteria Manager.

Specific Examples of Duties
- Prepare components of school meals according to the instruction and specifications of the cafeteria manager
- Assist in setting and resetting the serving line (ie. display meal options, stock milk and utensils)
- Serve food during meal service
- Assist with general clean up including dish room tasks
- Maintain sanitary and health standards
- Shifts vary on an as-needed basis; 3-4hr per day
Perform all other duties that may be assigned by the Director of Food Services and/or Cafeteria Manager.
Terms of Employment
- Rate: $16.35 per hour
- As needed basis
- Beginning on the first day of school for students and concluding on the last day of school for students.
- Hours vary per assignment.
