Watertown Regional Medical Center is seeking Medical Technologist (MT) OR Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for the night shift
Job Summary:
- Serves as a professional member of the laboratory staff who works well as a member of the laboratory team, performing all laboratory procedures (Blood Bank, Chemistry, Coagulation, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, Urinalysis, Point of Care)
- Assist with R&D, staff training, quality control review and assessment, instrumentation maintenance, venipuncture, solves problems under critical time constraints, operates under minimal supervision, and assists the Analytical Lead and Laboratory Manager.

Qualifications
Qualified Medical Technologist (MT) / Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science / Medical Technology
- A degree in Medical Laboratory Technician or Military Equivalent with eligibility for certification
Certification
- Current certification by the ASCP as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist
- MLT (ASCP) must be obtained within 90 days of employment
Experience
- Experience preferred but not required
