What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker LCSW Masters position at Watertown Regional Medical Center?
Responsible for providing social services and discharge planning functions for the assigned service area. Provides group, individual, and family counseling services assessing and planning interventions to help patients cope with social, emotional, economic and environmental problems.
Minimum Education
Masters Degree in social work required.
Minimum Work Experience
Three or more years of experience in all aspects of social service and discharge planning preferred.
Required SkillsCertifications:
* Current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain within 90 days after hire date.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Language Skills: Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
