What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher PreK-12 position at Watertown Unified School District?
SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS ARE NEEDED AT WATERTOWN UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
We are always interested in adding substitutes to our staff roster to help with covering absences! To qualify for a substitute teacher license, issued through the WI Department of Public Instruction (DPI), a person must:
1. Possess an Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
2. Complete a 1-day substitute training through an accredited program. Training is provided through CESA 6 or CESA 2.
3. After completion of the 1 day training, apply for a substitute teacher license with the Department of Public Instruction. Successfully complete the background check associated with the license application.
Pay: $140 for all day substitute teaching.

If you already possess a teaching license or a substitute teaching license, please attach it to your WECAN application. Frontline Absence Management is the program we utilize for subbing.
