Key Responsibilities:
- Test and verify the functionality of electrical panels, ensuring they meet safety standards and specifications.
- Identify and correct wiring errors, using your knowledge of electrical tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and power tools.
- Instruct and check the work of assemblers and helpers, providing guidance on panel layout, control wiring, and high voltage wiring.
- Perform quality control checks on units and assemblies, using voltage meters and other testing equipment.
- Assist with or perform testing operations on completed assemblies, calibrating and regulating units to meet load capacities and operating assignments.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- 1-3 years of testing experience.
- Familiarity with electrical tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, understand industrial controls, motor circuits, and communication circuits.
- Knowledge of basic electrical concepts, including high and low voltage safety.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Outlook, Teams Messenger, Excel, Word, and Adobe Reader.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to provide work direction to others.
